The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is an all-rounder electric sports cars. It’s a quick EV especially if the Turbo S version is the topic of discussions. For designer and influencer Sean Wotherspoon, the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo is his EV of choice. As a designer of fashionable streetwear, Sean just turned his Taycan 4 Cross Turismo into an art car.

An Exterior Painted In Block Style

The partnership between Sean and Porsche started as an idea from the carmaker’s marketing communications team. Initially, the partners employed virtual reality technology to try out and discuss the exterior color options for the new Porsche art car. Following a visit to the Porsche Museum, Sean took inspiration from the starting-number roundels on historic racing cars. This led to the circular elements on the doors.

Sean worked with the Style Porsche designers at the Porsche Design Studio in Weissach. Interestingly, He personally oversaw the physical creation of his art car by working on the shopfloor for concept cars and the trim shop. Sean even ensured that the colors for his personal Taycan were the precisely ones he wanted. Porsche then recreated the colors at the paint shop.

Interestingly, each paint color has a name. Sean named then after members of his family — Nash Blue, Sean Peach, Loretta Purple and Ashley Green.

Same Color Scheme For A Vegan Interior

Porsche then applied the colors on the exterior of the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo in block style. However, this color scheme isn’t exclusive to the exterior since Sean also wanted it to grace the interior of the Taycan. Thus, the color blocking continues with Nash Blue, Sean Peach, Loretta Purple and Ashley Green dominated the interior on various sections such as the seats, steering wheel, dashboard, as well as roof lining and center console.

Since Sean is a staunch vegan, he wanted the interior to be leather-free. Thus, the interior doesn’t have any trace of leather. Instead, the Porsche Taycan 4 Cross Turismo employed other materials such as Corduroy and cork — the same materials that Sean also uses for his streetwear. With that in mind, the dashboard, steering wheel, and center console uses cork as the main material, while the roof lining, seat centers and sun visors come wrapped in Corduroy in Atacama Beige.

Elements From Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur

Sean’s Taycan 4 Cross Turismo designed by Sean also features several elements from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, such as its 21-inch Cross Turismo Design wheels and the rear wiper cover. Both elements come finished in high-gloss Black.
